  •  I am looking for an answer to this difficult question.  I have seen Dan on all the time since he came back to Pregame.  Please leave comments for Dan to read (especially funny man FloridaChad)

  • Hahaha, D, you're dead to me! :)

Currently, I work from home Mon-Fri, but weekends I'm out and about. So you'll see me on here most of the day during the week, trying to keep the forums active and rockin'. Sat and Sun I can't get on here until about 6:30pm EST (unless I manage to jack a computer from the other room for 2-3 mins at work, but that's somewhat spotty in terms of reliability).

So, yes, POST FUNNY THINGS FOR ME TO READ AND RESPOND TO! I'm already pondering a Gold Star for dfresh for turning me into a thread topic, hah.

  •  Welcome back to Pregame!  I was having to erase a lot of posts before submitting them because I didn't want to sound like I was talking to myself in the mornings.  Now, there are quite a few people on here at all times.

BTW,  I am a manager so I dont "work" haha.

GL with Boston...you will need it :).  Smoltz is a little scary for me.  Rule of thumb: Don't bet Boston with Dice-K or Smoltz now.  Bet RL when other starters are pitching.  I assume it is a highly profitable strategy.

  • It is my goal to get even more people on here at ALL TIMES. Yeah, Smoltz is a little bit of a question mark, but I think the rust is coming off quickly for him.

  • Coming next week:  Making money for Dan's new A/C.  My picks coming next week after my vacation.  This will be a very serious thread.  I want to make some money for the forum.

  • Saw a nice one at Meijer on sale, so if we can get about 12 units next week, I think we'll be all set, and I can step lying about in my boxers trying not to sweat in my desk chair...

  •  Alright, sounds like a plan.  I am going to release plays that I am betting.  I have been giving my plays out recently just not devoted to my own thread.  They can be found scattered throughout the forum.  I will study hard this weekend and see if we can make some units next week.

  • Unrelated side question: what do you think about the Under in Philly/Atlanta and LAA/Tex? I think they're 8 and 9.5 respectively...

  •  Braves and Phillies.  Hamels and Jurrjens.  As mentioned in my Braves thread, the Braves have not given Jurrjens run support but he has been very good this year.  Hamels had a rough start last time out but has dominated the Braves.  I would lean Under but the better play may be with the Phils as the underdog.  Phils are 22-9 on the road and 17-8 as the underdog.  I personally wouldn't bet the game but that is how I see it.

Rangers and Angels.  Weaver has been amazing this year.  He has always had dynamic stuff but problems with control.  Millwood is one of those solid veterans that doesnt get enough recognition.  I would pass on the O/U here.  Rangers have been one of the best hitting teams in the MLB and the Angels are hot plus Angels bullpen is pretty bad this yr.

I personally would pass on both of those games but that is my opinion on them. GL tonight.

  • Thanks D - appreciate it! I just feel like in the Rangers/Angels game, both pitchers are really going to want this game...the rubber match of an AL West showdown. I might put a unit on it, since I think the Rangers outburst last night was an aberration (thanks to Joe Saunders just being terrible against them).

Phils/Braves I'm more confused - you may be right taking the Phils - they've been a little cold lately, but maybe steal one tonight.
