I said it before and I will say it again. Asskissing has got to stop here!

I used to get guys cursing at me at the back of my compline tape about "losing" comp selections at the half that ended up winning.  Never got anyone praising me for selections winning at the half that ended up losing.  Nice change of pace.

I'm not sure you helped VR very much, though.  Always remember, it ain't over until Leon Lett does his pre-goal-line dance.  Never write one of those little "W's" in a circle before the clock goes to zero  To do so is the proven kiss of death.  

I once wrote a "W" next to a team getting +3 and leading by 4 TD's with 2 minutes to go as they were the receiving team of a kick.  They lost to the spread by fumbling 4 kicks and throwing a quick interception on the fifth kick all leading to instant TD's.  I wrote a "W" in college ball next to a team getting +12 that went into OT.  The other guys scored, and then on my team's chance to tie it,  my team threw an Interception for another TD by the wrong team.  The other guys won by 13 in OT and my +12 lost.  I blame it all on the "W." 

If you ever get the urge to light up a stogie with a $100 bill before the 3rd out in the last inning, RESIST.    

SzKollert - You want a true example of "asskissing", you ought to read one of the last (practically a whole page) of one of our Pregame posters remarks to Pro Handicaper Mike Hook, toward the end of his thread, posted in Everything Else yesterday. The poster who typed that, made my post look like a "piker". In fact, mine was to the point, and was factual, and while the outcome of VR's selection lost, This example looked like a "paid for ad."  I would never speak for any Pregame Pro, but I sure would not appreciate this "letter". Its as if he is begging for free picks for life. Then he proceeeds to talk about his life experience regarding buying and selling stocks. I think our Pregame Handicappers "give away too much" in free picks. But some posters are never satisfied. They want more and more and more. My position is, its up to The Pros, to give what they choose to.....no need to plead for more. Be happy you get anything comped. If you wanna be Ann Landers, act like Ann landers.    

Ron - Practice what you preach! You did the same thing yesterday but almost a whole page longer in Mr. Hook's thread! You never know whose watcing Ron! You owe Mr. Hook a apology, My remarks were sincere, where you seem to have a motive

Hey at least some people are consistent, there is something to be said about that.  I know one member here, definitely not mentioning names, that gets called out all the time for "mistakes" and when accused always says "I’m telling RJ" yet when he wants to mess with, or try to humiliate, another member he goes right after em.........

Again, not mentioning any names, but consistency is a virtue also.........oh wait that is inconsistency.  My bad.

jbird - show me where I said "the game was over". Get your facts straight before you start trying to "hang with the big boys who have all the experience in the world "critisizing."

excuse me harold, how did i get dragged into this??  i have not made one dispariging comment about you or anyone else for that matter, and i sincerely take offense to that.  if you have an issue with me please feel free to share it with me and hopefully i can correct the situation, but please don't try to take out your aggression on me and/or other innocent bystandards.  i am an adult and if you cannot act like one then please leave me out of your hate filled comments.
