first off, my next words are not meant to stir up trouble......just an observation and honest question.

notice in other sports you had several big favs  -550 for 2 units for ex....so one would have to risk 1100 to win 200....is that really wise and couldn't everyone just take huge favs in those and not bother with  paying for 400 and 500 favs?   may have been free but same point , just bet the huge favs and hope no upsets?

deliveryman, great question.

For me, recently i have had days or even weeks where i played high chalk. But it's all relevent to me. Is it wise? To me it, it depends on who you ask. The way i cap other sports, if a line is -550 and it should be closer to -700, then hell yes i'm going to play it. Is it scary? Sure it is, but as long as i add it to my unit count win i win and take it away when i lose, what's the difference? It was FREE PREMIUM WORK, so at the end of the day, it was up to the INDIVIDUAL whether or not they made the play themselves. Just like when someone chooses who to buy from .

But back to the original question, i have said from Day 1 that OTHER SPORTS have the softest lines in all of sports. So when i find value, i will play it. Even with the high prices you were referring to, save for OLYMPIC VOLLEYBALL, there was still plenty of profit. So ABSOLUTELY there was never any "HOPE" involved. Just hard ass capping.

I will always go to battle where lines are softest. I'm an underdog guy when it comes to the MAJOR SPORTS, but i have no problem going with high priced favs. when it comes to OTHER SPORTS.

Any sports bettor that says they don't do it is either lying, or missing out on VALUE. You can't shut off any line, just because you are only potentially cheating yourself of missing a line that is simply OFF.

I respect you greatly, all the best.

I am my own source. It's not a run when you do it over and over again with consistency and a mentality that you've done it before.

In nearly "5" years at pregame, if you COMBINED every SPORT SEASON together, i have turned a strong profit in EVERY SINGLE SPORT EXCEPT BASEBALL. Of all the things i've done here at pregame, this is EASILY what i'm most proud of. That's LONG TERM WINNING.

As always, thanks for that to continue to follow my work. Much, much appreciated

Mike...All I know is that two weeks ago, I was in a bind, I googled you, and you said to pick X Malisse in Tennis, as I did that and you saved me out of the hole. My point is, you are a hell of a tennis capper. God Bless you sir and thanks

I think the support you've received from other posters in this thread speaks to the respect we have for you Mike. You're a guy with high character and I appreciate that. I haven't followed all the plays, but I can say that I've learned to pay attention to Other Sports, because there is money to be made there. Never thought I'd be betting on tennis or golf, but I've seen a small profit through that venture, so you have my gratitude.

Wish nothing but the best for you and your family as you continue to pile up the units during football season. We all know you will, your work ethic is relentless. Look forward to hearing about your success as you take on Las Vegas. Maybe this is already in the works, but it'd be awesome to see an appearance or two in the pregame videos with Marco, RJ, and Bryan Leonard breaking down weekly football games. Thanks again!

Good luck Mike and thanks for the work...but I for one, will be glad to see the "Stockholm Syndrome" leave these threads.  It was unreal and actually, laughable.  Maybe the answer lies in one of these experiments?

Hook, What can I say....I don't blame you one bit for the approach you are taking.  I would have done the same thing but the only difference is I would have taken this stance a long long time ago.  If others don't agree, that's fine...they don't know what is REAL when it comes to winning.  You are the only guy in my mind worth the investment on this site because of how honest, caring, and upfront of a guy you are.  I really have appreciated all you do from day one.  Keep your head up and keep killing it!  You are $$$ and there is no other way to say it.
