By now everyone knows what happened. Marco was out of town and began experiencing acute abdominal pain. Unsure what to do, he got in touch with Dr. Ed Meyer of Pregame.com After describing his symptoms Dr. Meyer immediately recognized the severity of the situation and had Marco admitted to a hospital in Pittsburgh where he has privileges. Dr. Meyer flew to Pittsburgh to assist with the kidney surgery and Marco is expected to make a full recovery. The timing could not have been better as until recently Pregame was without an in-house Dr. and had Marco not been admitted as quickly as he was the prognosis would not have been favorable.

So, thank you Dr. Meyer because Pregame certainly would not be the same without Marco and we are all glad he is doing well.

Ed's a great guy, and far more intelligent than I, but if he starts coming at me with a scalpel I'm running for the hills.

if kidney stones, should be lithotripsy *ping* *ping* ping* breaking the "big" rocks into small rocks that will pass through the ureuter to bladder and through uretha to elimate waste.  stones just have to be downsized.  should be no scapel involved these days, non-invasive..........

there is some predispoistion to once you get k-stones, you are more likely to get again.

back in the day, the old sargeants from korea used to tell me they would drink a case of beer and piss those puppies out, ouch!!
