Lack of respect, hard work and values. This trumps China, Iran and radical Islam. When places like MTV glorify kids having kids, this nation is headed no where but down. Below is a very powerful summary that in my opinion is not followed by so many of the kids growing up today and the end result of that is clear:

2009 Brookings Institution study which looked at Census Bureau data on a sample of Americans, wrote that the analysis found that young adults who finished high school, worked full time and got married after age 21 and before having kids “had a 2 percent chance of winding up in poverty and a 74 percent chance of winding up in the middle class (defined as earning roughly $50,000 or more). By contrast, young adults who violated all three norms had a 76 percent chance of winding up in poverty and a 7 percent chance of winding up in the middle class.

All these lazy bums with their hand out,, I get behind them at the store and they are buying junk food and energy drinks on a foodstamp card,, then they buy cigarettes with cash all while talking on a cell phone.....this really pisses me off.

Look at that look in this guy's eyes.

Unreal that people actually voted for him.

__________

Seems like others agree.

But it a great question, Johnny Detroit. We'll see what other opinions get expressed.

The youth of today scares the shit outta me.

Economic collapse on a world wide scale is the biggest threat....

I voted for him. Voted Bush twice and felt betrayed. The amount of money he wasted and how GW expanded government was disgusting. Used to donate money to the Republican Party, but when the last election came around wrote them a long letter saying when they get away from the Far Right Morals faction of the party and get back to the Newt era on fiscal responsibility and focus they can give me a call. I know people will disagree, but I am glad Obama won. Got the Republican party to go, "Wow, what the hell did we screw up do bad this guy was elected?"

things have been set in motion a long time ago. it should be interesting to see what it's like in 10-20 years. who are people going to blame then?

who did they blame 10 years ago?...20 years ago??....30 years ago???

This bears repeating...Obama has constantly blamed Bush for 3.5 years now. At least 1277 times! So, if, God forbid, he is re-elected, who will he blame for the next 4 years? Cause it will only get worse.
