On Friday night VR and I had dinner with Tomm Looney of Fox Sports and JT the Brick's producer Michael Pearson . . . GREAT TIME.

Then VR, figuring a expensive dinner wasn't enough oppulence for the night . . .
And all this is before his press pass to the fight Saturday night . . . Hopefully he'll post some pics . . .
Shocked he was not wearing a track suit or a jersey with sweat pants.

Definitely was another great weekend here in Vegas and it was no surprise because Mayweather fights always pack this city and it should stay that way for the next 4 weeks..
We've got KHAN vs PETERSON II, UFC 146, and BRADLEY vs PACQUIAO all between now and June 9th..Then add Memorial Day weekend to the mix and this is definitely a great time to come to town..
Strangely, no matter how many "fight nights" I've experienced over my 15+ yrs here..which included events like HOLYFIELD vs TYSON II where I actually fractured 3 ribs in that riot afterwards (that's a podcast worthy story) and so many others, I still get excited when we've got a blockbuster scheduled..
Finally, being able to share the experiences with so many people via the forum, http://twitter.com/vegasrunner , etc..makes it so much more enjoyable these days..I mean, having the opportunity to discuss what's taking place "live" and share pics from the events in "real time" is something I always look forward to..
With that said, they've gotten a lot tougher on media lately by strongly advising us NOT to take any pics from media row and since I don't want to get my creds taken away, I made sure to follow the rules since they were paying close attention for this one..
But here are some pics that I took from my phone..and I'll figure out how to snap some from ringside like I've done before at so many events..VR
twitter.com/.../1 ..it was standing room only after the fight and prior, they set up a kick ass buffet for us..
twitter.com/.../1 ..I just had to since I saw it in a dream the night before the fight..
twitter.com/.../1 ..There were tables set up for media from all over the world and they definitely showed up for this one..
twitter.com/.../1 Mayweather fights are the ONLY one's I've gone to where they actually have your picture on the pass..Guess they want to make sure you don't try to sell it for $5k since that's what they were asking for to sit ringside according to some scalpers I had the pleasure of speaking to outside the vip entrance where the limo's pull up and media passes are issued..

damn, and i thought my meal with you was special.....haha. Great stuff bro.
I am my own source. It's not a run when you do it over and over again with consistency and a mentality that you've done it before.
In nearly "5" years at pregame, if you COMBINED every SPORT SEASON together, i have turned a strong profit in EVERY SINGLE SPORT EXCEPT BASEBALL. Of all the things i've done here at pregame, this is EASILY what i'm most proud of. That's LONG TERM WINNING.
