So you think you had a bad day?

   You hear alot of people on here say timing is everything.  They are right.  Yesterday just got Betting Dorks 3 play about an hour and was kinda watching the line move in my favor,  when I get a call on my cell.  This number was one i have never seen before,  after answering it found out it was my kid,  he and his friend were in an accident totally forgot about my bet, and was out the door.

   Well turned out it was my car the other kid was driving, oh ya did I mention neither are old enough to drive.  Anyhow my boy is fine couple cuts bump on head, on the other hand, the other kid brakes his femur, life flight him and is still in the hospital.  He got out of surgery to put pins in his leg, broke his coller bone too.

    Now is where it gets weird,  get home turn on TV and yeah you guessed it the Knicks win outright,  I go to my computer and it was left on, had my sportsbook up and right in front of me is knicks +4 not only did i not get the bet in but it was right there.  Oh well I'm sure there are lots of storys like this,  just glad everyone is ok.

Man scew the Knicks and whoever they were playing. Your kid and the other kid are ok. yes broken femur isnt good but they are alive . Thats all that matters. The hell with any bet u didnt get in.

Glad your son is okay buddy and I hope his friend recovers. Youngsters tend to do that kind of stuff. I know I sure did. Take care!

Thanks for all the kind words, I have been busy for obvious reasons.  Yeah Shack there is no doubt about it,  just thought it was odd how I never thought of the bet till i turned on the tube.  

Spartan, everyone is doing well and that's enough for me.  You did that kinda stuff, I did and everyone did I'm sure.  Keep up the good work!!

Toofdoc, I didn't explain that very well.  He really didn't steal the car.  He has a school permit which means in Nebraska you can drive to school and school activities but that's it.  They had a basketball game, and where supposed to be taking shoot around.  Then I think they got done and went for a joy ride.  Let's just say he's not driving for quite some time.

Hope I didnt come over the top. Your post touched a nerve as me and my 8yr old got in a wreck a few weeks back. A kid ran a stop sign. Nothing as major as your situation but we did have some bumps and bruises.I hope your son and the other kid are ok and learned a lesson. BOL to their health.
