Hey Dave,

After back to back, come from behind, overtime wins, the markets are playing the "Wizards are tired" card, moving the game from WAS -1 to WAS +1.5 at Minnesota tonight.  The victory on Saturday, coming back from 21 points down in the 2nd half, seems to have energized the team.  I found the following quotes:

“It was a hard fought game the last two games,” Morris said, referring to the Wizards’ back-to-back road overtime victories. “We let teams get a real big lead on us but you know, that just shows our will. Our will to not quit and that’s what we did again tonight.”

“It’s almost like we won the championship,” Bradley Beal said, revealing the emotions after the comeback win. “We were throwing water around, beating on lockers like wild animals but it was electrifying, man. We were excited, especially with a game like that when you claw back and fight your butt off.”

“We just wanted it, at the end of the day,” Beal said. “We just came out with more energy, more focus and it was a helluva game. It was a terrific win for us.”

Do you see value in backing Washington tonight in this spot?

That game will be one of the lead topics in the Monday edition, but for now I see value in the opposite direction, Minnesota doing some things that have fallen a bit under the radar since the All Star break.

Sports  I have that same mindset

I'd make the same comment about the Mountain West, however, there is only one team from that conference in the tourney, Nevada, so naturally that may call on an Iowa St ticket, no hurry there, as i hope the number falls.

One thing I was thinking about with tournament games is the games that are the second game to be played in the building.

In the ACC tournament semi-finals, the Duke/UNC game went for like 3 hours. The ND & FSU kids were sitting there, and I was thinking Notre Dame must have more experience waiting for games to tip off over the last few years.

Do you think there's any merit to favoring tournament-experienced teams in the second game of these regionals?

Unfortunately, Notre Dame plays at noon this round. Dont they always seem to get that early slot?
