Thanks for the follow up ya'll.
So the skinny is, none of the pay services are monitored by Pre-Game? I do see hot streaks posted, top plays won, etc., that's all part of the business, to sell advertising spots to keep a site going, etc., and make it free to the general public to view.
Spartan, I know a lot about the SM and Sports Watch, etc., and you are correct Spartan as far as paying them for their service and that being monitored by them would help and it could be a waste of time, but I've seen also that they post Cappers' specials, etc., and they at times advertise in tip sheets/newsletters/other publications which each sports top cappers' record or who was the #1 capper in that specific sport for a specific season. I believe their fee is $1,000 for all sports, they have minimum picks per week, top rated plays must be sent to them, they have a time limit to when the picks can be sent in and they use the closing line at another odds/line service and it's visible for the General Public and the records are accurate based on the plays sent in by the specific handicapper/service. All sports monitors have to charge a fee to help pay for their time and efforts of record keeping, etc. That's all the nature of the beast I reckon.
But for me, as much visibility or transparency a service can have, whether they are good or bad, will help them in the long run grow clients. I've yet to see any service since 1981 that is still around since then win consistently every season in every sport, some are very good at one sport, ie, MLB or College Football, etc. Some cap all sports and so on and so forth. They all have their good years along with the bad.
I appreciate the feedback. Good luck this year!
