So, here is my situation. I turn 21 in august and i am planning on moving to South Lake Tahoe to pursue my goals of being a professional poker/sports handicapper. Starting June 1st, i will be unemployed. The company unemploying me is giving me a significant sum of cash as a "bonus" on my way out! I am going to take this new found money and invest it in poker and sports handicapping. And hopefully can build a slight roll come August/September. ANYWAYS, i am looking at this Streak for the Cash contest on ESPN.com and i see that if someone like myself can dedicate an entire month to it, there is a high chance of me being able to at least compete, with all of the great minds here at pregame I am sure we can find 2-3 winners on the board daily.... Does anyone want to discuss strategy for the contest? i would love to prep and strategize for the end of may and then really kick it off right come June..... I recognize that the board often has very lopsided games, sometimes i see teams that are all the way up to +135 . I think that there is value betting the underdog in the sports book, but picking the favorite in the SFTC contest. because in my opinion the minds at ESPN see a closer contest then Vegas does.... Any thoughts? is it unrealistic for me to go for this thing???
