Mr. Bell,
I enjoy a good amount of what pregame has to offer. I enjoy the "dream podcast", and enjoy reading the thoughts of Steve Fezzik, and a couple of other pro's that I have known through the sports betting community, of which I have been a part of for the past 20 years.
What I can't understand is, why you would allow someone like "Vegas Runner" or "Mike Hook" to sell picks on your site. Mr. Bell, you are educated enough to know that if someone is truly a sharp, they don't have time to sell their picks. I don't see Billy Walters selling his picks. The real movers of the market we all invest in, are busy manipulating it, twisting it, and in most cases straight out beating it.
I know there will always be touts, and they aren't for me, but I understand why the market exists. Given the platform you have created, and the industry voice you have carved out, I'm asking you to do better. Do a better job of screening your touts. Run back ground checks, get references from people like Jay Kornegay, and the other sports book directors that know the industry. I believe you are trying to do the industry a service, but every tout that is misleading or deceitful creates a black eye for the industry. An industry mind you, that is so frowned upon by our federal government, that a responsible tax paying citizen cannot place wagers with online books. The market I once invested in, that allowed me to have 10 "outs" and find the number I was looking for is now only available through great measures.
It is my opinion that individuals like Mike "Hook" and "Vegas Runner" are a large part of the problem. I'm asking you to do better, for those that want to invest in sports. I'm asking you to help grow the industry you work in, and profit from. I believe you have the intelligence to do so.
Thank you for your time.
