Ivey has done this twice now. At least only two casinos have come forward and admitted, in effect, how stupid they were by not knowing enough about how to protect their game. He may have done this at other places that may not have realized that he took advantage of them.
A good, ah even a bad gaming attorney should be able.to defend Ivey succesfully. He did not "cheat" but instead took advantage of information that was available to anyone that was sharp enough to know how to recognize "sorts". Additionally the management in their zeal to placate Mr Ivey agreed to grant his request and alter their procedures...OOPS.....STOOOOOOPID.....LOL.....
Ivey should consider counter suing the casino managers and regulatory agency that licensed them. On behalf of the shareholders these managers and regulators are dangerous to the financial health of the stockholders and tax revenue to the state. All the profits and tax revenue that was lost as a result of thier neglegence is certainly cause for damages.
