Now that college basketball is done, thought I'd open this topic up. I'm not only a recreational bettor but a seasonal one, but mainly basketball. Come summer, I'll bet on the NBA draft and in July even NBA Summer League. Baseball escapes me with their pricing and the fact it's played with innings and not a "clock" sucks as a bettor. I love the game of baseball but it's more fun to actually play a position than to crap-shoot bet it or even watch it. End of summer, I'll bet some college football and NFL like everybody else. October, it's NBA preseason (I know some will look down on this as well as the Summer League betting but I know those that do probably bet some NFLX), and for the rest of the year it's NBA, NFL and college football, with an eye to college hoops. January, February and March, it's pretty much all college basketball for me.
Once college hoops is done, I usually look at the NHL playoff run and, if it presents itself, an NBA game. But for some odd reason, I find success in Hockey this time of year. And I don't even know how to cap it. Just throwing darts at toughness. Ask me about a hockey game in January and you're out of your mind.
Purpose of this thread:
1) Are you a seasonal bettor like this?
and
2) Can Denver Money and JRich do another 4 hour podcast? These guys are the best at
Talkin' Hockey.
