I am more than happy to discuss the line.
I respect your opinion, Pool . . . so you consider someone saying "you have mental problems" respectful? Do you think the average poster wants to be subjected to that?
I don't think that quote by itself is enough to ban someone. If the poster who said that had been warned before then that is a different matter. To tell you the truth I feel pretty much the same way that poster feels although I wouldn't have worded it that way. But by what seems to be the new rules anything that the Mods "interpret" as a negative comment is a banning offense. Griff just called Dave Essler a "Yankee", which is funny because I think Dave is in one of the Carolina's. Myself and anyone else in the south interpret the term "Yankee" as a disrespectful term. Applying common sense to the comment, I as well as Dave knows that Griff was just kidding around.
The following is in Pregame's term's of service as being encouraged: Show your support for the author, offer a rebuttal to the argument put forth, or just talk some plain old smack in the comment threads.
I totally agree with that statement but by the way the rules have been applied lately I'm afraid the Mod's can't tell the difference in smack talking and bashing. As I've said, I'm all for stopping the bashing but not to the extent that it has been taken.
