I have 100 employees about 60-70 full-time which I consider to be a small business so yes obamacare is not good for me nor my business. My business survives on Medicaid funds and my state has a shortage of Medicaid funds so again this obamacare will cost states to allocate more medicaid funds toward it which means less to help my business. Again, I am getting kicked from both sides!
Is it not true that if my employees qualify for the government insurance and my plan isnt meeting the standard that I pay a tax???
While I highly doubt they will drop their coverage (we have had sustained growth for several years and the Co-op's Board of Directors sees itself as very socially responsible and has been offering coverage for years), if they did I would enroll with Commonwealth Care (more widely known as Romneycare); it's lowest plan for someone my demo is $18 monthly premiums (with relatively high co-pays).

Like I said it's not perfect, there should be a higher cap, and there should be a Public Option so the onus isn't saddled on business owners.

If the guys in here with their own business say it s bad(Obamacare) I believe them before any DEM or REPUB......saw some Doctors on TV last night and they talked about its bad deal too...........of course business owners and Doctors were not part of the process.

Like I said earlier, DM, people who actually WORK in the healthcare industry KNOW this is a disaster of epic proportions. They have been preparing for this for 3 years now. It's a REAL MESS.
