i could easily see them doing something with shawn michaels even though he is RETIRED he is still vince mcmahons favorite. believe it or not but shawn was once vince's boy toy yes u heard it right they are bi sexual. now vince has chris jericho( no joke ) but shawn is nice to keep around remember bret hart getting screwed shawn and vince did it. hint hint but yes very possible shawn could work a program with his long time friend triple h
I dont know who vince is gay with lol....but its pretty obvious to me throwing Shawn into the match that something is up. I think HHH gets OH SO CLOSE to beating Taker and Shawns jealousy takes over.
Then Taker will keep his streak alive and that will setup an even bigger match between HBK/HHH at some point.

Seeing the Rock as the underdog confirms to me that Cena wins.
Michaels will turn on HHH in this match and Undertaker will win because of it (that way neither Undertaker or HHH really LOSE in the eyes of watchers)..That sets up so many further angles for the next year.. Sweet Chin Music for Hunter!
As much as I want to see The Rock win, I think Cena beats him fair and square and Dwayne J shakes his hand out of respect after the match (basically passing the torch so to speak).
I havent watched wrestling since 1999 BUT this mania intrigues me as I was a big fan in the 80s-90s. Maybe it's worth the 50 bucks.

Thanks to everyone for joining in the conversation. I love hearing everyone's predictions.
One thing is clear: Everybody is focused on Rock-Cena & HHH-Undertaker.
From a betting perspective, I like Sheamus at -245. In pro wrestling, heels are generally only placeholder champions (meaning they only hold the title till the next babyface or fan favorite is scheduled to win the title). Daniel Bryan has been holding the title so Sheamus can win it at 'Mania. And we still win the bet if Bryan gets himself DQ'd. But I'm very confident that Sheamus wins the World title tomorrow night.

DAILY REMINDERS
#1: Please use proper money management. Whether you flat bet my plays or play them according to the Unit ratings, PLEASE bet within your means.
#2: PLEASE take a moment to tell your loved ones you love them. Take a moment to kiss your spouse/significant other, hug your children, call your parents, etc. Those things are so much more important than betting on any sporting event, and you never know when it will be the last time you get that chance.
I dont even know who Sheamus is lol... the two main events arent for any championships?

Yup. As crazy as that seems, the WWE title match (CM Punk vs Chris Jericho) and the World title match (Daniel Bryan vs Sheamus) are playing second fiddle to two non-title matches (Rock-Cena & HHH-Undertaker). That's WrestleMania for ya!
Db - may have a couple of years on ya--for the late 60's i really liked that entertainment...i am from central alabama---the card always included an Italian-a masked man-a "whip Boy" - a black man-maybe a pair of midgets and or women--and of course some local good ol boy....i miss those days of preying on the ignorance of others to make $$$$---they still show some AWA classics on ESPN late at nite & on Sunday am occasionally

I hear ya, Jeffrey. My dad always talks about how he watches the old AWA shows late at night on ESPN Classic.
I mentioned earlier in this thread about how, when I was a youngster, my godfather & friends took me to WWE (called WWWF back then) shows at the Hamburg Fieldhouse in Hamburg, PA. It's funny when I look back on those times because the shows were set up so differently. It was a 3-hour show, and each hour would then be played on TV over the next 3 Saturdays. So Hour #1 would air this Saturday, Hour #2 would air the following Saturday, etc. Because of that set-up, you'd see the same guys wrestle 3 times (once each hour) during the show!
Thanks for sharing, Jeffrey.
Only 7 hours away from 'Mania!
Less than 3 hours till WrestleMania XXVIII kicks off. Here are updated odds from 5 Dimes.
