I know, I know. Pro wrestling is something you either love or hate. If your dad watched it when you were very young, then you probably got hooked on it, too. That's my story.
My dad used to watch Florida Championship Wrestling back in the '70s (his favorite wrestler has always been Dusty Rhodes), and that's what hooked me. I've been a fan my whole life, even though I'm one of those who feels that wrestling just isn't as good as it used to be "back in the day."
When I was about 7 to 10 years old, my godfather & friends used to take me to the Hamburg Fieldhouse in Hamburg, PA where the then WWWF had a show every Tuesday or Wednesday night. Ah, the memories.
I enjoyed WWE's "Attitude Era" (everyone who knows me is now rolling their eyes & saying "imagine that") with Stone Cold, The Rock, DX, etc. It hasn't been the same since, but I still watch because it's in my blood.
We're only five days away from WWE's biggest show of the year, WrestleMania. I never miss a WrestleMania. Friends & family always come over, and we make a party out of it. It's always a good time.
The WrestleMania XXVIII card looks like this:
The Rock vs John Cena
Hell In A Cell: Triple H vs The Undertaker (Special Referee: Shawn Michaels)
WWE Title: CM Punk vs Chris Jericho
World Title: Daniel Bryan vs Sheamus
Intercontinental Title: Cody Rhodes vs Big Show
Randy Orton vs Kane
Team Johnny (David Otunga, Jack Swagger, Drew McIntyre, Mark Henry, Dolph Ziggler, The Miz) vs Team Teddy (Santino Marella, Booker T, The Great Khali, R-Truth, Kofi Kingston, Zack Ryder) -- Winning team's GM will run both Monday Night Raw & Smackdown)
Kelly Kelly & Maria Menounos vs Beth Phoenix & Eve
I'm personally looking forward to the Rock-Cena match, as well as the Hell In A Cell match between Triple H & the Undertaker. I can't see 'Taker's streak ending, but it should be one hell of a match. Many think Shawn Michaels will favor his buddy, Triple H. But I expect him to "call it right down the middle."
So, is anyone else looking forward to WrestleMania XXVIII this Sunday?

DAILY REMINDERS
#1: Please use proper money management. Whether you flat bet my plays or play them according to the Unit ratings, PLEASE bet within your means.
#2: PLEASE take a moment to tell your loved ones you love them. Take a moment to kiss your spouse/significant other, hug your children, call your parents, etc. Those things are so much more important than betting on any sporting event, and you never know when it will be the last time you get that chance.
If my wife lets me get it, then I might be excited
I hope they dont mess too much with the Taker match and he goes 20-0
I also know that Rock has to win coming back to Miami, but I wish there wasn't a way he wouldn't
Wouldn't miss it for the world!! Me my granddaughter, her cousins on her daddy's side will all be right there rooting on the Undertaker and Triple HHH and John Cena.Don't honestly know who will win the Taker match with HBK involved but i think the major twist or surprise is going to be Cena beating the Rock in his home town.Either way it's going to be a fantastic event.
2012 NFL 33-29 (+13.55 units)
2012 CFB 34-35 (+6.90 units)
2012-2013 CBB 271-220-16 (+71.10 units)
2012-2013 NBA 4-5-1 (-4.20 units)
Yeah, I don't think they'll do anything to tarnish 'Taker's streak. That's why I think HBK will call a fair match.
I can't get a good feel for the Rock-Cena match. On one hand, the Rock will be in his hometown of Miami. But will they really have Cena, the face of the company & the guy who's there 365 days a year, lose to someone who only shows up once a year?
At any rate, I'll be pulling for the Rock. I respect all the work Cena does for the Make-A-Wish Foundation, but as a wrestling fan, he's just way too "goody goody" for me.

I think the FINAL DECISION as broadcast ends on Beth and Eve is interesting, considering they are the only final ruling that features a smaller payout than INITIAL RULING.
Something is up there for sure, in my opinion.
I also see value with CODY RHODES.
Great thread DB!
I am my own source. It's not a run when you do it over and over again with consistency and a mentality that you've done it before.
In nearly "5" years at pregame, if you COMBINED every SPORT SEASON together, i have turned a strong profit in EVERY SINGLE SPORT EXCEPT BASEBALL. Of all the things i've done here at pregame, this is EASILY what i'm most proud of. That's LONG TERM WINNING.

As always, thanks for that to continue to follow my work. Much, much appreciated
Yep, me and lil Oop will be watching, at least the first half of it. Its a school night so I'll record it and watch it with him when he gets home. Took him to his first house show a couple weeks ago and thought his head was gonna explode. Funny watching a 6 yr old get pissed off when a heel comes out. Got a vid of him yelling you stink at Dolph Ziggler. Funny shit!

Interesting find, Mike. I know Sheamus is -245 on the final decision, but I still think there's a lot of value there with him.

LOL! That's awesome, Oop!
Keep in mind that if you bet on any of the title matches, you're not necessarily betting on the title changing hands. You're simply betting on the "decision." Any champion can get counted out or disqualified, which would mean they'd lose the "decision" but keep their title since titles cannot change hands on count-outs or DQs.
