Didnt know that the 1 seeds would have to go on the road to play the 1st 2 games. Doesnt seem fair especially in a 5 game series cause if you get down 2-0 early its even tougher to come back and win then it is in a 7 gamer regardless if you get the next 3 at home or not. Seems like getting the 2 seed is the better deal if you ask me.

Perfect example is the oakland A's. Down 2-0 and now they have to go home and win 3 straight AGAIN like they did vs texas. I guess i can see how the schedule makers would argue that all you have to do is split on the road to start and then you have a major home field advantage but id really like to see it go back to 2-2-1. Good luck to your orioles, id like to see thome get a title.
