I apologize for being "off the grid" recently. My oldest stepson got married on Saturday, so the last few days have been hectic around here.
I didn't see the Indiana-Minnesota game. I can only go by the box score, which doesn't always tell the whole story. Clearly we did not get the flat performance I was expecting from the Gophers and the Indiana offense seemingly only played a half. I never make excuses when any play loses, which is why I don't make a habit of coming in here & doing recaps.
As I mention on my Pro page, "I understand the frustration that comes with losing streaks. Unfortunately, those are unavoidable. I have no problem with clients venting as long as it is done respectfully. Chances are I'll vent right along with you. But I will not engage or interact with anyone who disrespects or insults me, my work or my integrity in any way. Period."
Not every week will be a winning week, nor will every month be a winning month. And no matter how many pick titles someone gives a set of plays & no matter if they're 2* or 3* or whatever, losing streaks will happen. If you can't handle that, then sports betting is not for you. It's really that simple.
Negative energy doesn't help end losing streaks. Negativity never helps anything. It's by far the #1 reason I don't participate in these forums any more with the exception of keeping clients updated in this thread. I need to keep myself away from negative-minded people and keep myself focused & surrounded by positive individuals. I don't expect a pep rally in here when things aren't going well, but snide remarks & negative comments aren't going to help turn things around either.
As Ron alluded to at one point in this thread, I'm the same guy win or lose & I'm usually the first one to come in here & acknowledge a big play loss. This weekend was a rare exception due to being busy with wedding festivities.
Back to work.
