Dave, I hate to kick you when you're down, but your instincts in baseball have been terrible. Already two losers again today, and I am not holding my breath with TB. Why would you take the A's behind Sonny Gray whose pitched horribly lately. He got shelled for 11 hits and 7 ER in 7 innings last time out. WA -1.5? Why would you want a home team run line unless you're getting a decent price back? I know this seems results based, but it's honestly how I reacted when I saw the picks.
I seriously think this is beyond variance and bad luck. This is just poor handicapping. Basically a month straight of losing every day.
I'm always looking to improve my handicapping and I hope you are too. So don't just blow off suscriber feedback. I chose two games myself tonight. I look for favorable pitching matchups at a decent price. I faded Kazmir and Peavy. Love the Mets, they have a huge advantage in the pitching matchup, and this is a terrible spot for the Dodgers. They just traveled across the country to start a homestand and the Mets just trotted over from San Diego.
I know you have the ability to break out of this slump. But you'll have to reassess your handicapping and not just write it off as bad luck.
