Inwood
good day for those of us that know how use Daves service. NDST - loss, Oregon - BS loss, Dayton - winner, UConn - winner, over UConn - winner, Under St Louis - winner, Harv - winner, over Harv - winner. Cool. Thanks bud, looking forward to Sundays info.

This is why I even bother. Am I mad that NDSU lost? Not really. Are there expectations that weren't met? Yes. We are +8 for the month of March and +22 for the year. The free ones don't count, but if they did it'd look even better. We had Syracuse to win it all as a future (see home page) and tweeted out Dayton ML last night. That was the plan all along. That doesn't "count" either. I stopped trying to please everyone long ago. I accept that I was wrong on NDSU. They did not meet MY expectations, or SDSU exceeded mine, whichever way you choose to look at it. I cannot change the way people bet/think/percieve on a daily basis and accept the consequences. I am grateful for the long term clients that understand how "this" works, and truly worried about those that don't. If I thought it was even worth my while, I would not even sell daily packages. I don't make lengthy apologies when we lose and I don't make/expect "in your face" comments when we win. That's actually the best way to lose focus.

Of any big win we have had, or winning streak, or even coming out of a losing streak, of this I am most proud:

Some forum posters have broken into the industry and have achieved moderate success while carrying themselves with professionalism and integrity. Dave Essler, of the pick-selling site Pregame, immediately comes to mind.

I still want to know if all these people on Twitter and Pick-Selling sites claim to have beaten up books for years, I would think there would be no places left to place wagers.

I lost it too, but won the other pick so it evened out.  I would love advice on a pick though today since I did pay for the loss.  Thanks Dave.

Keep firing David and hopefully, there are enough of us seasonal subscribers-the "silent majority"-to make it worth your while.

If I'd have seen this sooner I would have been more than happy to. We had Stanford, which does no good now. I took Kentucky +5 and went back and ML parlayed them w/UCLA hoping to get both, and I took Gonzaga. Thanks for understanding that there is/was no malicous intent. I also really like the Baylor under but have yet to add it officially.

It's guys like you that are the reason I tolerate a lot of the flack, not so much after a loss like that because I expect it, but the daily dose of useless/agenda driven distractions that I have to read. It's one reason, and you know this, that there is less actual content from some people in the forums. I can assure you I will not be doing the daily/lengthy MLB threads this year. Free plays, sure. But all that work is going to you guys, as it has been this CBB season. I don't think this paragraph will be difficult interpret.

I think I will respond here. Since you know me so well, what were you hoping to accomplish with this post? If it was to make me feel bad, well, it's too late for that since "the next one" has already started. If it was to lump me into a large group of people that try to sell plays with no conscience, well, it will take more than one loss to erase four years of NOT doing that. If it was for your own benefit and to feel in some way vindicated, I would suggest it's a case of both misdirected anger and/or expectations that need to be clarified in some way.

Don't let the amateurs even make you blink pal. Too bad we can't figure out a way for members to have to prove they have at least 5 years experience, then you might not have to put up with fool comments! Mark, your Hilton Head buddy
