You are free to feel/think any way you want. I'd be disappointed as well. My reaction to it might be different, or it might not. As you may or may not know, years ago I bought plays, so I know what the expectations of most people are. There have been more than the USCB game that have fallen short of said expectation in the last couple of weeks. I could go on about what we've done the last year, two or three, but that does not matter to most people. I know that.
One thing I will say, though. Most bettors that people follow feels badly when plays lose. Probably more than they should. Most bettors that people follow feels great when plays win. Probably more than they should. The sun rose today. My kids still love me. My dog wagged his tail. But, it's how we feel that and how we act (or don't) on those feelings that defines us.
Let me ask you this, which is not meant to take away from the game(s). If USCB had won outright, would you have said what a great job we did? If they had lost on a buzzer-beater would you have questioned the call at all? If every other play won and only that one lost, would you feel the same way?
If Chris Eversley, CP's best player, had played, they may have won by even more. He did not play, which was not common knowledge prior to tip, so I made the bet. Much to my chagrin Dylan Royer could not miss three point shots, especially after it was a three point game with 15:00 to play. It was a seven point game with 8:00 to play. I "feel" like going on, but I also "feel" like it would be, at this point in time, not the highest and best use of my time.
When we win we have more clients. When we lose we have less. When we win, people think we walk on water. When we lose people think we cannot swim in said water. the truth is probably somewhere in the middle. Thanks for the opportunity to address this, and again my bad on the USCB bet.
