I have been going to Supercuts for at least two years. I'm 63 and 'am no longer interested in "style". I just want a good haircut for a decent price. Supercuts is 5 min from my home and I have been satisfied for the most part in their performance. It's clear that these gals are just starting out in their chosen profession. Like any other field some are good and others not so much. Even if I get a bad cut It's $20 (with tip). No biggie right? After all, it will grow out.
I went in last Wednesday as I usually do every 2-3 months. Everything went according to plan. About halfway through my 15 minute cut there was a sneeze. It was so loud I thought it came from across the room. Boy was I wrong! It was my stylist. I actually felt my hair "blow in the wind" from her. What do you do in that situation? I was in the chair as I said "god bless you" and she continued to finish my cut.
5 minutes later I tipped her and was on my way. The next morning I felt a heaviness in my chest. I tried to shrug it off. After all, I hadn't had so much as a cold in over 4 years! I made it through the day but the next morning I could barely swallow. I was in dire straights. Thank goodness my sister was here visiting. 'Sis is somewhat of a "witch doctor" and has a remedy for everything. She broke out the Silver Hydro sol, Oregano ointment and various other remedies. I reluctantly took them all. I was in no condition to argue.
36 hours later my nose is running like crazy and I'm sneezing hard enough to cause cardiac arrest but I feel better! I wasn't able to handicap any week end games but I'll be back soon.
Good Luck Handicappers!
