http://pregame.com/pregame-forums/f/13/p/321874/1574397.aspx#1574397 -- Projected Easy Weeener.
The link is to the thread from a few weeks ago where I nerded out a little bit (or gathered info like a mofo) and posted why you should wager on 'The Dark Knight Rises will make UNDER $196 million on Opening Weekend, Domestically' and to bet it big. All kinds of good stuff was put in there as to why it's a solid wager to hammer. Well the projected Opening Weekend numbers are out, and they are projecting just $160 million to $165 million which is WAY under. And a few days before the release on Friday, the Over / Under actually went up to $200 million (so had to hit it again). I believe I placed 4 wagers overall since it opened at $194, $196 (x2) and $200 (for a few units).
Hopefully at least a few people followed along! I know it may have seemed like a silly post at the time, but as stated, money is money is money as far as I'm concerned, and sometimes you can find these type of wagers and destroy them if you put in the time and effort. NBA, MLB, CFB, NFL, CBB, MLS, WNBA, MMA, Tennis, College World Series and now Movie Openings. Lovin it. Only wish it had let me put it in some parlays!
Side Note: Unfortunately, this movie will most likely be forever linked with the Colorado tragedy that took place. My heart goes out to all of the people affected by that horrible situation.

I remember your original post with the useful info, but my book didn't offer it. Glad you found a new way to continue gaining units!
Glad you hit and I can only hope you did due to the research and not the public's fear of going to see the movie post shooting. I personally know at least a dozen people who refused to go after the fact

Good work, Will. I love seeing people exploit things that most consider dumb to bet on
You want a handicapping tip? Spend as much time getting a good number as you do researching games. Depositing/withdrawing/depositing/withdrawing is a bitch, but I guarantee you will lose less, or win more. I can't guarantee that for any other piece of advice
