Johnathan Detroit requested I start this thread so there would be a one stop shop for any math related questions having to do with sports betting. These can include:
Props pricing
Futures pricing
Teaser value
Hedging
Moneyline/Win % conversions
Whether it's better to take the money-line or run-line in a given situation.
Any others you might think of.....
There will no doubt be some questions I don't have the answer to, but I'll try my best. Fire away
You want a handicapping tip? Spend as much time getting a good number as you do researching games. Depositing/withdrawing/depositing/withdrawing is a bitch, but I guarantee you will lose less, or win more. I can't guarantee that for any other piece of advice

Lloyd, want to move this to "other sports". okay? also, you can subscribe to this thread so it is easy to fine.
No doubt i'll find it JD. I was thinking about the new people who might just be joining and have no clue who Lloyd is. It would be easier to find. No problem though it was just a suggestion.

Sounds good to me
Lloyd, I have a dime on Giants 22-1 to win the Super Bowl. My average wager is $500-$2000, endless on middles (will max out across the board). Since this is well beyond my average bet limit, what would you suggest in regards to a hedge? I believe if a wager is a ton or nothing, it is worth a small hedge.
I find that your thread will be vital during the baseball season between betting straight up and with run lines. Thanks in advance for all of your help
