Thanks guys. We'll continue on into the weekend. There are some good games going on:
Chelsea vs. Liverpool (England - Premier - 7:45 AM CST)
- Chelsea is playing host to Liverpool with a ton of pressure on Jose Mourinho. The Blue are sitting nine points out of a Champions League spot. They were just knocked out of the Capital One Cup by Stoke City, and haven't impressed in the Group Stage of the Champions League, only capturing four points from three games so far. A loss here to Liverpool and their new boss Jurgen Klopp would cause the pressure to rise a few degrees.
Werder Bremen vs. Dortmund (Germany - Bundesliga - 9:30 AM CST)
- The Bayern Munich machine was halted when their run of consecutive wins to open the Bundesliga was halted with a goalless draw to Eintracht Frankfurt today. With a win, Dortmund can close the gap at the top to five points. Which could bring a little bit of excitement back to the league, as there's concern that a team like Bayern Munich dominating so much can be bad for the league's image.
Juventus vs. Torino (Italy - Serie A - 12:00 PM CST)
Certainly not the start to the Serie A season that the reigning champs could have envisioned. Only 12 points from ten games so far and 11 points from the top spot, the champs certainly need to start buckling down.
