Over the last 7-8 years, Calgary was the most dominant team in the CFL when it came to covering the spread. From 2010-2014, they covered 60.6% of their games. I'm not sure how many teams (in any point-spread based sport) can say they covered 60+% of their games in a five year span.
So it's pretty odd to see that they opened the season 0-5 ATS this year. Do you think the defending Grey Cup champion is just consistently overvalued? I do know one big problem they are having right now is the inability to get yards on the ground. They are 2nd to last in the CFL when it comes to yards per carry. Their 4.69 ypc is highly unusual because their lowest output since 2007 is 5.34 in 2012. I don't see it getting any better without star RB, Jon Cornish.
They're still 3-2 SU, but they haven't covered a game and we're 5 weeks in. What's your outlook for this team going forward?
