**Matt Kuchar - 27/1 (5dimes) 1 unit**
-Matt has had great success playing the Copperhead Course at Innisbrook. He has made the cut here in 6 of his 7 attempts while posting 4 Top 15s. He also enters the Valspar as one of the more in-form golfers with finishes of T23-T30-T2-T3-T17 dating back to the Tournament of Champions. He finished 1st last week in Strokes Gained : Putting - a stat that he currently ranks 46th in this year and hasn't finished a year outside the Top 26 since 2008. I previously made mention of his ability to grind, well it can't be displayed any better than his finishes in the 'Scrambling' stat over the past decade. He ranks 5th this year, and going back to 2007 he has never finished higher than 14th (4,12,12,7,13,5,3,14,5)! That is exactly the type of game that is needed to succeed here.
**Luke Donald - 28/1 (bovada) 1 unit**
-Luke's success here is nearly unrivaled, having made 6 of 6 cuts while finishing 4 times in the Top 6. He won in 2012 and has posted back to back T4s the last 2 years. Clearly he loves the track, and why shouldn't he? It is absolutely tailor-made for his game, which is gradually showing signs of life since he re-united with his old golf coach (Pat Goss) during the holiday months. A T7 at the Honda was promising, and I count that as far more indicative of where his game is at over the T49 last week, which was at a course that clearly didn't fit his eye. I trust that Luke, playing in a familiar setting with positive vibes from his overwhelming success at Innisbrook, will find his way onto the first page of the leader board come Sunday.
