Here is what my book is listing for open champ this week and if it will go to a playoff, let me know if I am looking at this correct please

Play Off To Decide The Winner?
07/17 6501  Yes
 -335
12:45 AM 6502  No
 +240

But here are odds on how it finishes

Margin Of Victory
07/17 6503  Playoff
 +240
12:45 AM 6504  One Shot
 +250
6505  Two Shots
 +350
6506  Three Shots
 +450
6507  Four Shots or More
 +330

Something is off in my opinion and thinking I should bet No at +240 for it to finish in playoff, I do not think it will. But in "marging of victory" it has playoff  Am I looking at this wrong or what? should I bet both at the +240 mark?

What book?

Gangster dolphins
Marine biologists studying Australian dolphins discovered that the mammals form complex hierarchies within their pods in order to attack other groups. Some individuals serve as fighters. Others serve as liaisons to go out and recruit new members. These "intricate webs" are rare in the animal kingdom, says Virginia Morell at Wired, and strikingly reminiscent of "the Mafia."

I blame Snoop Dog.

Yup, they're backwards.  If you two have a good relationship let him know.

You want a handicapping tip?  Spend as much time getting a good number as you do researching games. Depositing/withdrawing/depositing/withdrawing is a pain, but I guarantee you will lose less, or win more.  I can't guarantee that for any other piece of advice

a decent relationship, but not great. Should I play both at 500 each? that would be a 750.00 guarenteed profit

I already played max, which is unfortunately only 500. I just wanted to make sure that I was not looking at it wrong, glad you all helped me out. Now i just hope he does not try to cancel my bet when he figures it out. Thanks guys

I hate to tell you this but that was the worst possible thing you could do.  Not only are you taking a major shot at him by betting both sides, only one of them is a bad line.  If you're going to scalp, you never do it if one of your bets has a chance of being canceled.  What will likely happen is he will cancel one and you'll have 500-1200 on a playoff still live (which I'm sure you wouldn't have bet alone).

Also, if you're going to take a shot, just betting the off line alone would have given you more equity than scalping
