the way you guys bet horses in America makes no sense to me...over here we bet one horse usually per race either to win or each-way (win and place). Sometimes bet just to place...

Why all the combos and dropping 3/4 horses per race and making multiple bets out of it? Surely it is giving the books more of an edge in the long run.

What I like to do is pick one, maybe two max (if theres is alot of runners, i.e. 15-30 runners) strong selections per race and bet these to win

I couldn't agree more.  I'm still a novice horse gambler and am quickly realizing how deceiving some of theses posts are.  for example, i very recently played a pg posters picks and lost a good amount fast yet they always show "hit 5 of 6" or something.  sure, when u hit the list 3 horses and hit 1 heavy favorite i guess you "hit" the race, but they don't mention that any play you made LOST money no matter how you slice it.  if you played wps it won, but was a fav so didn't pay shit and the other two lost and the ex, daily double, pic 3, etc. all "hit" but still lost money with the cost of the bet.  i guess you just have to figure out who to play and hwo not to.  i'd rather see what they play or suggest to play and then show a profit/loss for the race.  seems more informative and accurate, especially for us novice players.

on that note, where has p-6 gone???????????????????

Yes it does Suck, learned a lot from PicSix, I dont blame Him though. Hopefully He will be back sometime.

Well im sure you guys saw me call out the guy last week, I dont remember his name but just like PaulieP said - he puts won 8 out of 9 hit 4 pic 3's yeah that is great!  But he never put what they paid and when I researched it and say what everything paid the guy got killed!  Picsix is the best and always will be the best he is honest and posts how you should bet it and always posts his results.

Like Gates said there are only a few good guys in horses, Gates, Lefty, picisx, jonnymo, Straguzzi, Texas Cracker ass cracka and Paulie P

Straguzzi I follow Picsix on twitter too but havent seen any plays from him...pretty weird

I can't speak for him but I do talk to him almost every day. He gave me the Eagles last night. All I can say is that it takes a lot of work to handicap a full race card, post them, and reply to people in the thread.
