Excellent post!
Paulie23anyway, what's this twinspires site you're referring to strags? kid did have a couple good days, i'd like to check out those picks that were similar to his. can't search it at work so if you can shoot me the link i'd appreciate it.
Paulie, the thing about Twinspires TV Handicapping View is that once the race day is over, the selections are gone. You cannot even copy & paste them because the site doesn't let you.
I was looking at a race at saratoga oevr the weekend & had his sleections in front of me. I switched to Handicapping View & they had the same selections. I then started with race 1 & went thru the whole card & it was about a 90% match. I did this again the next day & then one more time.
Handicapping view gives the top 3 horses & the top 3 in terms of Class, Speed Pace in each race.
Paul, anyone can post 4 horses in a race & have a good day.
Ask one of the guys down at otb that have been around the horses for a long time & see what they tell you. For that matter, try it yourself.
"We'll See What Happens"
wow, took me a while to go through this thread. Anger managment BERJ. I loved your plays and you won, no need to go crazy on people. We all have bad days, regardless of what sport it is.
Damn, Johnny. You didn't have to go out like that. Thanks for all the winners, via PG and text. Note that Strag once again called you a plagiarist, yet once again came up with an excuse as to why he could not prove it..."the thing about Twinspires TV is that once the race day is over, the selections are gone. You cannot even copy & paste them because the site doesn't let you"
Convenient. Now call me a plagiarist for plagiarizing you.
I watch the races on twinspires. I use that info as a tool in my choices. I also look at recent results, riders, betting pools, etc... I love watching previous races at the distance their racing at for todays race.Sometimes results at shorter disatnces or ionger distances don't matter for the current distance for today.
I like watching the pre-race announcers going over th horses, owners, trainers, class of horses and hot riders.
If I end up with same plays as somebody else, then so be it, who cares if people match.
Exactly. Bottom line...when you have success, there will always be critics no matter what you do. Unfortunately for Johnny, he responded in the wrong way.
Haters and critics are everywhere, ignoring them is the best approach. Ber J will be missed, as the short time i tracked his picks he sure was doing quite well. I understand you cannot react in the way he did. I love Pregame and the handicappers here that take the time and effort in posting their picks. Let's keep it civil and of course, BOL to all!
The guy was doing great with the horses but he had too short a fuse. Should have simply ignored them like cms4browns said.
