Hey Nick. Early on, I'll be looking to play 2 draws where I think the number is off, with the ultimate goal being to hit 1 and profit. I likely won't play many totals until matchday 6. Just so happens, I love that Chelsea under so I fired. We'll have to see what patterns emerge from the first 5 weeks. I could go heavy on totals after that. I love capping totals and that does take the 3-way issue out of the equation. I'm really hoping that Bovada and/or 5dimes offer BTTS this season. That's my favorite!

Van Persie poised to join Man Utd

15 August 2012

Arsenal have confirmed they have agreed terms with Manchester United for the transfer of striker Robin van Persie.

Last season's English Premier League top scorer will travel to Manchester on Thursday to undergo a medical ahead.
Van Persie is reportedly set to sign a four-year deal at Old Trafford for a fee of 24 million pounds.
A statement on Arsenal's official website read: "Arsenal Football Club can confirm that terms have been agreed for the transfer of Robin van Persie to Manchester United.
"Van Persie will travel to Manchester on Thursday in order to agree personal terms and complete a medical ahead of the proposed move."
The Netherlands international is likely to spearhead a formidable attack for United - Wayne Rooney finished behind the Dutchman in the scoring charts with 27 league strikes last season.
Manchester City and Italian giants Juventus were also reportedly interested in Van Persie's signature but Netherlands international is now due to join former Crewe youngster Nick Powell and Japan international midfielder Shinji Kagawa as Sir Alex Ferguson's off season recruits.

Reminder to self...this is England. The best lines are not always found early.

A nightmare beginning for Rodgers and Liverpool. Didn't see that coming.

I'm not criticizing, but why was there no scoring in the Brazil game? With the info you gave, I was confident in that one.

Well, they did score 2 goals and there were a handful of good chances to get the third. Just didn't happen.
