The rest of the tour not invited to the Bridgestone event will go to Montreux G&CC in Reno, NV for the Reno-Tahoe Open. This is a 7472 yd par 72 where Scott Piercy won last year by one stroke over Pat Perez. The thing is this year they're going to go with the Modified Stableford scoring system: 5pts for eagle, 2 for birdie, 0 for par, bogey -1, double bog or worse -3.. I didn't know this when I first was looking into this event so I'm just going to go with a few solid outright picks and possibly some rd by rd matches after thursday. $BOL$

2-2-1 in tourney match ups didn't see any rd by rd plays but we have JJ henry in the lead with 8 holes to play and a 6 pt lead, let's hope he can hang on as Jim Furyk let us down today at Bridgestone.
Oh Yeah Baby!! JJ Henry gets it done for us at the Reno-Tahoe Open. He won by only 1 pt but good enough for us :) I'm new to capping the modified stableford scoring system and was a bit hesitant but all worked out nicely.

Recap:
JJ Henry held on to the 54 hole lead(unlike J.Furyk!!) and helped us pick up a 7th documented victory and a 30.5-1 payout. I'm a little surprised by the lack of intrest in this event as sometimes the smaller events are more profitable. Went 2-2-1 in the tourney plays for a break even finish(-.10 units) still pick up 27-1% golf units for a successful finish to my first modifed stableford scored event. PGA Championship event thread will be posted later today. $BOL$
