also saw nathan green and will claxton at 50 to 1,,and they're both 1 stroke behind , any thoughts?
long ways to go, tough to win a tournament like this cuz you have to make lots of birdies to stay in contention, i dont really know much about these 2, just saying it may look like good value, but there is still a long way to go.
matty, Mathis has missed the cut 12 times in 19 events played and only has 1 top ten finish this season when he finished exactly 10th in new orleans, in 25 events played he only had 1 top ten finish all of last season when he finished 8th also in new orleans.. If he was 100-1 i would still pass.. He had a great back 9 today and got some help from an ace on 11(2 players aced that hole last year..) for me he is fade material in any h2h match up you can find.. $BOL$

Fwiw green only has 1 career win on tour in 184 events played since '98.. Claxton only has 1 top ten in his career when he t9th in feb at the mayakoba..
thank u guys i appreciate it
I AGREE WITH DJS THAT MATHIS IS A FADE IF ANY H2H WITH HIM CAN BE LOCATED. IN FACT THAT WOULD BE THE ONLY LARGE 2ND ROUND WAGER I WOULD CONSIDER IN A LOW SCORING TOURNAMENT OF THIS NATURE. IN ADDITION, THE WEATHER COULD CAUSE FURTHER INSTABILITY. IMO, FIRMER EVALUATIONS OF VALUE SHOULD BE ABLE TO BE MADE IN 3RD AND 4TH ROUNDS.
True Raymond, although the weather looks okay tmrw with a 50% chance of rain and only 6mph wind.. The worse the weather the more I like the mathis fade..
