Two questions:
Actually, the best would be for not only the books to boycott the second fight, but for fans to do so as well.
Interesting piece in Grantland to-day explicating one conspiracy theory. In short: Top Rank makes twice as much money when both fighters in a bout are from within their roster; so giving the decision to Bradley sets up the rematch and gives them another payday between two of its own fighters.
After that fight, Manny's contract expires; so if he chooses to leave, the path is clear for him to fight Mayweather. (In other words, Top Rank won't let him fight Mayweather, because the latter isn't one of its fighters, and thus its share of the pie would be cut in half.)
