Good Morning Racefans, well I got just what I needed last week hitting with Kyle Busch and cleaning up nicely with my HTH’s. So it looks as though I am on track to add 8% to my bankroll over these two weeks. On the Season I am at a +6.692% add on to my annual bankroll. I hope many of you have been along for the ride. It has been a bit up and down, but you have to stay in the drivers seat each week to be profitable. Picking and choosing from my card is a recipe for a very disastrous plan.
We have an early east coast race today so I have been pressed because as always the bookmaker is vey slow getting out the HTH match ups. Also, it’s restrictor plate racing again and anything goes here at “Dega” just like Daytona. A few notes, there are several great drivers that have a very good chance here today and they are supported with exceptional odds. I’ve been riding Biffle and Dale quit a bit this year and I love both of their chances today. This race had been being dominated by Chevy’s lately but the Ford has been a very successful drive in restrictor plate races, so I worked hard to get some on the card and had a hard time leaving others off.
Today there is a threat of rain here, so it could be a wait to get this race started. A few drivers that I really wanted on the card but had to leave them off were of course Jeff Gordon & Jimmie Johnson, along with Matt Kenseth. Kenseth my Long shot Daytona winner could be my demise. Also a real sleeper is Clint Bowyer, now in the past that would be no surprise in the Chevy but now he is at the helm of a Toyota and I think he has the best possible chance of all Toyota drivers today. As for the Dodge, well look out for AJ Allmendinger, he’s been strong in practice runs and this car has had past successes at Restrictor plate races, but I gave the nod to his team mate for the win. One thing you could look hard at is a Field Bet today just be aware of who is in that group, several drivers with outside chances to take home a win today.
Next week we get back to some night racing from Darlington then it’ll be a week off for the All Star race. Then it’s back at it with the Holiday weekend from Charlotte. I thank everyone for all their support each week, hope your keeping up and following along for the season. Thanks again and best of luck to all the great handicappers here at Pregame.com.
