Despite 12 fighters being pulled due to visa issues the UFC is still going through with Fight Night 70 because of the big main event & they have managed to put together a card that should be a very fun watch & I am very excited for it. Altogether I will have 5 plays for the card including my GUARANTEED 5 unit UFC Bet of the Year, 1 prop, 1 parlay & 2 more moneyline plays. I am having a good month up 10.91 units (Plus $1091 for a hundred dollar bettor) & +11.41 units the last 2 UFC events.
The Main Event is a battle between middleweight contenders Lyoto Machida & Yoel Romero. Either Romero will prove that he is a true title contender or Machida will show that he's still very much a in the mix at 185. The biggest question is whether or not Machida has fully recovered from his loss to Rockhold just 2 months ago & if he can stabilize the power and explosiveness of the "Soldier of God."
The Co-Main should be a fun scrap between Santiago Ponzinibbio & Lorenz Larkin. Larkin looked great in his last outing after dropping down to 170 but he has struggled against fighters that bring pressure. This should be a firefight & a very fun watch.
Shoeface vs "Big Truck" Gordon & Steve Bosse vs Thiago Santos are also 2 intriguing fights. The card has quite a few fighters making their UFC debut & also a handful fighting out of their natural weight class. With so many short notice fights & using the smaller cage, we should get quite a few finishes because guys don't have enough time to truly game plan.

Tony Sims +105
Analysis: Both men are taking this fight on just over a weeks notice but Sims seems to have a lot higher ceiling than Steve Montgomery. Montgomery was on the new season of TUF until he had a seizure but other than being a member of ATT I just don't see anything all that great. Montgomery is good offensively but pretty terrible in all defensive areas & he's got a weak chin. Sims is a natural 155er & this is taking place at 170 but that's definitely a plus because unlike his opponent, Sims didn't have to cut down all that much and he should have the speed advantage. I look for this to be pretty back in worth early but Sims will start to take over towards the end of the first round & will eventually drop Montgomery with a big shot that leads to the finish. Even if Sims can't get the finish, he will outpoint Montgomery & get his hand raise.
