Dont usually have time to post anything but got some free time today. Only thing I will say about myself is that I do know more soccer than anyone here and this is a post just to help out the great pregame community. Now that is all it is, information. I am not saying I hit 70 pct or I am a expert handicapper etc etc. Again this is just to help everyone out with some info just like I get free info on bball, football from other great people on here, both pros and non pros.
Ill start with PSG hosting Chelsea since this is the big one of the day.
Lets start with Home Field Advantage : Venue is Parc de Princes, Paris
This is a great venue to play in. Away teams love playing here. Great city, great hotel, easy trip from airpot to hotel and then hotel to stadium. Fans are not on top of you, and it is a high class fan base so nothing too crazy going on in the stands or outside the stadium. Great pitch. So other than travel, PSG does not get much of a home field advantage.
Breakdown of teams
Chelsea is the better team with the better coach. PSG has some injuries and really this game could not come at a worst time for them. They have not looked good in League play and people are questioning how long Blanc (head coach) will be around. PSG tied a pretty bad Caen team over the weekend and Chelsea rested over the weekend. Mourinho is as good as they get in a home and away scenario. I do not trust Blanc.
Im not going to get into formations, etc etc cause no point. Bottom line is at PK -115 (Heritage) I think its either a play on Chelsea or no play. I usually lean unders in the 1st leg of a home and away but PSG does not know how to defend since they are usually the better and more talented team on the field.
The other game Shakhtar hosting Bayern Munich I would lean Shakhtar getting 1.5 at home. That is a real tough place to play and fans are crazy. But Shakhtar has not played in 2015 and will not be in rhythm. And Bayern could score 5 on anyone on any night. This game I will stay away from.
Ill try to come back and answer some questions throughout the day if I get time. Good luck to everyone.
