In Today's Big Conversation, Scott and Chuck give out some CFB win total plays that they are looking at.
Yesterday Dave Cokin gave out Wyoming Over whatever their win total is when it comes out. He also gave out UNLV Over.
Wednesday Andy gave out Georgia Under 9.5 and Nevada Over 6.
Chuck is going Under 6 with Vanderbilt. The Commodores had a bad recruiting class, they lost their QB, the WR corps is very young and the defense returns just 4 starters. They have a soft non-conference slate, but Chuck feels they way win just 1 in the SEC.
Scott Likes Penn State Under 7.5. James Franklin is a great hire as HC for this team and the starters are solid, but very little depth here, thanks to NCAA sanctions. He believes they will start with a loss to UCF and if they do Scott feels they are looking at a 6-6 year.
Chuck's second team he is looking at is the Over 8 with Iowa. Their schedule is very soft in the big 10, while also being an improved team. They are very solid a long both lines and the running game will be improved. QB has more experience.
Scott's second play is Nebraska Under 8. Scott, back in March, thought this was a 9 win team, but watching what has happened over the summer he is going the other way. They have serious issues in both trenches, at QB at WR. Soft non conference slate, but the Big 10 Schedule is tough. Scott thinks that an 8 win season here could be the end of Pelini. No matter what the pressure will be on him.
