Central Florida +7 vs S. Carolina
Both teams off bye week. This is a much bigger game for Coach O'Leary and Central Florida in what many locals are saying is the biggest home game of the school's young history. South Carolina is tuning up for SEC play next week. UCF QB Blake Bortles is more than capable of keeping this game close. This has upset potential but at the very least, a backdoor cover.
E. Carolina +12 @ UNC
UNC lost major contributors from last season's offense. They struggle to run the ball and their defense has been inconsistent. E. Carolina hasn't run the ball much better but UNC run defense might be just what the doctor ordered for Vintavious Cooper. Historic trends favor the Heels as the Pirates have lost 11 of their last 12 games to ACC foes and haven't beaten the Heels since 2007. Again, backdoor cover is the call as I'm not sure UNC is 12 points better than anyone right now, except USF.
Minnesota +2 vs. Iowa
Home field is the difference IMO in a watered down Big 10. I'll take the points at home.
Miami -18 @ USF
USF might be the worst team in the country. No backdoor cover here, just a back side beating from the 'Canes.
