Fezzik is certainly a beast, no doubt about it. So glad to have him at Pregame, as he is invaluable.
Right now there's alot of talk about 60% claims.
I've personally had multiple season in major sports, with up to 300 plays in one season, finish with a 60% season record.
I know of other pregame pros that have done the same thing, and i have also seen our awesome forum guys do the same.
Now i know the "Fezzik Challenge" is different, but claims of 60% seasons being absurd simply isn't the case. I know it's been said it's about TEACHING the regular bettors how hard it is to hit such a percentage over a longer period of time.
But it's been done, and i've always thought that ANY of our pregame guys, whether it be pros or forum posters, should be celebrated. Obviously not to the extent of winning back to back Hilton contests, but certainly celebrated and made noteworthy.
Props to all, pro and awesome forum posters alike. Big ups!
I am my own source. It's not a run when you do it over and over again with consistency and a mentality that you've done it before.
In nearly "5" years at pregame, if you COMBINED every SPORT SEASON together, i have turned a strong profit in EVERY SINGLE SPORT EXCEPT BASEBALL. Of all the things i've done here at pregame, this is EASILY what i'm most proud of. That's LONG TERM WINNING.
As always, thanks for that to continue to follow my work. Much, much appreciated
The best thing about the "Fezzik Challenge" is something RJ said earlier.....
"Because from here on, every time a tout claims over 57%, you can ask him why he didn’t take the Fezzik Challenge."
In a nutshell.....actions speak louder than words.
The gauntlet has been thrown down. No BS, no 3 star super-bookie-buster games of the month, no long term/short term debate......just 5 games a week in the 2013 NFL regular season based on the LVH contest rules.
This is an excellent proposition. Hopefully RJ will keep us posted as to who signs up for the challenge.
You have said it yourself Mike, you are capable of a 60% season, some of the Pregame pros are capable of hitting 60%+, and some of the forum posters are capable. That's great. But how many of them have signed up for the Fezzik Challenge??
Big ups?? Sign up for the challenge. Just signing up will earn you a ton of respect. Signing up says you have confidence in your abilities and are an expert in your profession. Taking the challenge and losing will still gain you more respect than not signing up at all. Signing up and winning will give you Baller status and will probably make you 10 times the amount of the challenge over the course of your handicapping career.
That would be a pretty cool Tag Line......Winner of the 2013 Fezzik Challenge
Best wishes for picking winners -
very much agreed with alot you said JoeD. Very much so. I'll make an announcement on the matter very soon. I know this is NFL centered only, and that's great.
Perhaps in a few decades there will be an ALL SPORTS challenge as well. That would be fun too.
Best wishes to you as well sir.
this does not count totals players? what if your an expert at totals not saying I am but this has limited sentiment. With that said I doubt many will take on this daunting challenge....
Thanks Mike- hope your doing well bud....been meaning to say hello bud- keep on killin it bud, love the tennis plays
