Probably best fall camp since Saban arrived here

Injuries are minor after all game scrimmages

Lacey back at full speed

BAMA has 2 more TRENT RICHARDSON clones in Lacey/ Fowler with a starting off line who will all play on Sunday (POUND, POUND, POUND, let us all face it, ask any coach, games are all really decided at line of scrimmage), SABAN believe in making each of the opponents 11 players quit on a player vs player, play vs play basis, sort of like a boxer vs boxer, round by round, blow by blow flight. Each play is a 1 on 1, 11 player fight. Teaches great responsibility to each individual player on each individual play . This is the absolute total philosophy as a coach in Saban.

Potentially the person with the most rush yards this year will be TJ Weldon (freshman), differrent back than above 2, Are you kidding me?

Saban will release A J Mac at qb in the pass game this year (Per interview on ESPN Mike & Mike this mid week)

Offense at BAMA will be hard to handle as well as prepare for week to week.

Per Saban Bama has more depth at Def Line than ever as BAMA coach- See line of scrimmage comment above

Linebacker, BAMA will just reload again

BAMA needs experience at def back but hopes to overcome with front seven, who coaches def backs, Saban himself

Should cover  Mich game easily, with a runaway in 4th qtr if close at all getting to the 4th qtr which I believe will not be

I believe that with flaws in Denard qb game ( he is a very good athlete) BAMA preparedness will give great confidence to

 BAMA young defense

Remember SABAN really likes these opening games against perceived good teams at opening seasons at neytral venues- see Ala -Clem/ Al- Va Tech in recent past years . BAMA exposed these teams on season opening games.

Can anyone tell me one single BIG GAME BAMA/SABAN has not been PREPARED FOR?

RTR!!!

Big I, this is a little nauseating............ but you are right, as usual.  thx for the local report, but 12 is pretty hefty on the road in an opener.  Given an "average" of 4 pts. for cfb home, that would mean that 'bama would be flavored by 20 in tusktown.

Is bama really 16 pts, better on neutral than Mich?  I def. agree w/ bama win, but stranger things have happened, and bama is chalked to the HILT this year.  Of course you know I always say that, and more than not have to eat my words.......

In any event, hope they are undefeated 09/15 when they caravan through the alluvial delta plains to the boston mountains of the ozarks.  we be patiently waiting, and elephants are not very sneaky - so they will get everyone's best.

Nice to see you on the forum Biggie, have a great season and GL.

Big differ here if line is more than 3 scores, which I believe it will be at closing BIG, BIG differ here in a  2 scores winner & a need for 3 scores.

I do not believe Mich is a top 10 team with there QB without he having some overall team help.  Does MICH have this I ask? BAMA basically has on real weaknesses except no large amount of experience at def back being the nearest thing to the word weakness. An overall complete team pretty much prevents any attack plan from the opposition.  If BAMA has a perceived weakness at def back, is Mich the team to exploit this based on Denard, look at his pass game last 2 years (against Big 10 def backs I may add)

11 in 2010, 15 in 2011. PAST HISTORY INTERCEPTION RATES,THIS IS HUGE IN A POTENTIAL BIG GAME, I SAY REALLY BASED ON THIS NO CONTEST AS I BELIEVE TO BE IN THE GAME AGAINST BAMA, MICH IN A RUN, RUN CONFERENCE, MATCHED UP AGAINST A HIGH SCORING OFFENSE THAT BAMA WILL HAVE THIS YEAR, WILL HAVE TO PASS, BIG MISTAKE WITH DENARD, 30 INTS IN HIS 3 YR CAREER. IT WOULD BE A TOTAL SHOCK IF DENARD HAS A GOOD PASSING GAME AGAINST BAMA & HIS RUN SKILLS WILL BE LIMITED BE BAMA (SEC) SPEED ON DEFENSE.

NO CONTEST I BELIEVE

Also MICH has now lost 2 (nonskilled players) per my reading yesterday, you need  depth to have any chance against BAMA, that is why LSU & BAMA match up so well over the past few years ( exclude nat champ game which once again BAMA was PREPARED, LSU was not)

I agree but I think under 2 TD line overrides that 4 pts, keep in mind BAMA complete placekicking full team returns so that is a plus, see no kicks missed due to EXPERIENCE there.,  Not sure how MICH Kick game arrives but it can't match BAMA I would assume.

Thanks Raz, added info BAMA off line outweighs  mich def line 40lb per man.

Only BAMA off lineman unde 300lb is tight end ay about 265lb

Dat northern meat gonna be awful tender for 4th qtr feast ( That's razorback talk for you)

I've never been a big Denard fan, and truly believe that saban will have the ultimate plan in place.  & just jostling a bit w/ you as well, so no offense.

But reports indicate big run support for tide, and lil' nicky won't get too crazy on the road.  They will pound, and mich will buckle; but all-the-while the clock goes tick tock.

Total set at 42, which is pretty low, and 'bama has been known to eat up a whole quarter controlling TOP.  When bama gets the lead, they will get less risky.  Saban will let Mich load the box and still try and run them over, as opposed to going airborne, imo.

Tide's 2ndary cannot perform on name recognition alone, and must be able demonstrate stopping power TY.  Michigan does have outside speed, and a couple of homer calls, could be telling ATS.

Wolves are no slouch, I agree not top 10, but I do say top 25.  They should do well in conference.  Everyone always thinks the big 10 is soft, but they usu. perform well OOC games.

fwiw, I have bama by 9.  But probably won't touch it.  The line seems a fg too high.  But that's never stopped Ala'bama before, LOL.

Big I, i've been hearing from Tuscaloosa that the defense has been pounding the offense too hard and had hurt 6 or 7 skill set players in practice, but nothing major...

That is good news since the overall team off vs def from an inexperince standpoint lies with the def.

Keep in mind that this def is practicing against a great off line & a great off,  Mich off will be a relief for BAMA def I believe. BAMA off has the BAMA def prepared for the season one would have to believe.

All the hard hitting has been done & these minor hurts will be healed by game week. Your comment tells me that BAMA def is primed & ready cause I know what the off can do both from experience & a  physical

standpoint & it appears tht def has manned up this fall against off.

This. No disrespect to Hoke, but the HUGE difference here is D-E-P-T-H.
