Before I being with what I’m about to post I just want to say hi to everyone. I’m glad to come back to many familiar faces. If you are new to this site, this forum is a very fun, educational, and resourceful. The professional handicappers here are the sharpest you will find in the business. You will not find a site on the internet where their handicappers are as interactive, stand up, and truthful as here on Pregame. Besides the pro handicappers, this forum has some of the sharpest amateur handicappers. This is why I continue to come back and contribute as much as I can to help and get helped. Here is a little information about myself. I have been on this forum for many years, but I usually only post during football season because that is technically the only thing I bet. I do bet hockey and basketball, but it seems like the last few years, it just hasn't been as frequent as past years. All my plays during the college football season will be documented by Pregame and recorded. I am really happy they have this function now because it helps track records for lazy people like me. If anyone is curious, you can go into my bio and see my record from last year. I am by no means a great handicapper; my main goal is to try to help people. My style is mostly numbers. I play the numbers more than the matchup. Well, the football season is about to start soon. I have broken down the totals for the first week of the CFB season between D1/D1. If you are interested in another total, let me know I can calculate it for you.The information below is a pretty accurate account of what the total line should be set on in relation to stats from last year and returning players. I thought I would post it as a reference tool and maybe it can help someone. If anyone has any questions, please feel free to ask. I will update this thread leading up to week 1. Take care everyone and good luck on this season.

Halo, look forward to reading your posts and write ups this season. If that Boise/Mich St. total is 56, under might be the play of the year!
halo....if the over under for akron and ucf is 49 ....a def play would be on the over....akron offense is totally different this year and there is excitement in it...they will be chucking all over the field while ucf should pound the ball all over akron defense ....the best bet is under boise and over akron ucf im telling u
nice to see you posting Halo!! Cheers to a good year. Was talkin' bout that tucky/ville game whereas griff had the total# @ 42, I had much higher @ 49 d/t defensive losses for tucky and 'ville's upswing. interesting to see your # nice and low there, will be waiting official arrival of that one........

J-Mo how are things going? Good to hear from you also, lets get at it this season!
BoiseState25 Halo, look forward to reading your posts and write ups this season. If that Boise/Mich St. total is 56, under might be the play of the year!
Thank you BS25. Im just here trying to help. I agree with you, im sure the line will come out lower than what my number has it projected at. My number is just a reference point on what the line should be on a accurate basis, not what the books are trying to throw out there for equal action. If you see this line going up, I wouldnt be surprised. Its all perception.
the Akron Hammer halo....if the over under for akron and ucf is 49 ....a def play would be on the over....akron offense is totally different this year and there is excitement in it...they will be chucking all over the field while ucf should pound the ball all over akron defense ....the best bet is under boise and over akron ucf im telling u
Akron offense is totally different, but it still takes time to apply it to game time situations. UCF is always strong on defense and this year should be no different. I think it depends on how they adapt with the ban. It will be interesting, but I dont think ill be touching this game in week 1. It will be exciting to see how both teams do. There is no doubt that UCF is the superior team in this matchup though.
