For those who missed it now that we have multiple football threads and since I posted these in my baseball thread.

Here are the props I'm betting tonight...

  • West Virginia RB Steve Slaton OVER 145.5 rushing yards at Bodog - some of you may or may not know that Slaton was originally offered a scholarship to play at Maryland and then it was taken away from him, which is how he ended up at West Virginia.  He got big-time revenge against the Terps in last year's 45-24 win, rushing for 195 yards and 2 TDs.  I think he goes nuts again tonight, as he started slow last week and still ended up with 146 yards and 2 TDs.
  • Did you guys see the prop on Maryland RB Keon Lattimore tonight?  Bodog has OVER 60.5 yards set at -160 which is some heavy juice to pay for what should be a sure thing.  Lattimore is Ray Lewis' little brother and should be able to rush for a bunch of yards tonight.
  • I also found a prop at SportBet pitting Lattimore vs. Slaton, who is -220 to have 31 more rushing yards.  Because of the value, I'm putting a small bet on Lattimore at +170 to stay within 30 yards of Slaton.

He certainly looks like his big brother...

Anybody betting these props with me tonight? 

Best lines for tonight: West Virginia is -16 at BetUS; Maryland is  +17 (-125) at Bodog; OVER 62 at BetUS; UNDER 63 at SportBet

wow. Lattimores a huge reason why I'm playing MD tonight -- besides injury, how does he not get 60 yds ? this D doesnt stop anyone half decent.

Absolutely - we need 41 yards from Slaton and 12 more from Lattimore to get both OVERs.  Hopefully, they grind it out in the 2nd half for my UNDER in the game too Beer

Well we got the Lattimore prop - now let's see if we can get the Slaton prop by the end of the 3rd quarter...

Ubelievably, we didn't cash the OVER prop on Slaton (falling 7 yards short) but we still cashed the one on Lattimore, and most importantly an easy Double Dime winner on the UNDER as my NCAA TV Play O' the Week YesBeer
