I'm sooo glad that one of these teams will represent our nation as national champs (NOT!!!). These offenses are pathetic. I said this the first time they met. All i heard all year was the media say that OSU never deserved a shot at the national title because they had no defense. That is the stupidest remark i heard. Shouldn't it go both ways. Why shouldn't pathetic offenses be criticized as well. I don't give a shit if these defenses are that good. Would Alabama be throwing a shutout vs OSU, or Stanford. I don't think so. The BCS committee wants the best teams there and a very good bowl game for the national title but that hasn't happened. Hell 9-0% of the bowls this year have been better than this and all of the MAC or Sunbelt bowl games have been much better than this piece of crap. The BCS committee isn't worth shit.
Like I said i feel OSU and Stanford both got snubbed because of their defense and that is not fair Those teams played a much better bowl game than this (41-38). I don't feel that either one of tonight's teams would be able to outscore Stanford or OSU. Really sad.

I Agree with you Jeff, I have never seen a National Championship game been played like this, this game sucks and LSU is even more SUCKER! #1 My Ass.
Games like this one tonight are the reason college football needs a playoff. Elimintae the tune up games in september and open up the confernce schedule from the beginning instead and the playoffs could start around mid to late november with 16 teams.

bama's defense wouldn't/counldn't hold either teams offense.. SEC doesn't know how to play against a team that can actually throw the ball.. if you really want to go to the stat sheet with that one, I'll win all day
OSU and Stanford would have turned the football over 4 times each against either of these two defense. which would have lead to a higher scoring more exciting game that you so long for. Learn to appreciate good football, seems to be working out well for the SEC. The real injustice would have been stanford or osu vs. lsu.
Stanford got beat down by Oregon, and Oregon got man handled by LSU. Don't get caught up in the public outcry for OSU. Bama would crush them 45-14.

but i feel that OSU or stanford would have had a better chance than LSU. Alabama would have been in a much tougher fight vs those two, while I feel that LSU would have at least lost to OSU. If Bama had beaten LSU in the first one, would LSU have deserved to be in this game with a high school caliber QB? I don't think so. Defense may win championships but offense sells tickets and those people at the game got robbed. just like all of us did for having to watch it. NO OFFENSE TO BAMA FANS OUT THERE. Congrats.
Hands Down they need to take a look at this season and say Playoffs!!! Playoffs!!! Did u say Playoffs!!!! I mean this was the worst national champ game i have ever seen, Lsu didnt even reach the 50 yard line until like 7 mins left in 4th quarter lol, Alabama's defense is good but not that good Lsu played with no heart tonight and seemed not motivated probably because they already beat this team at bama months ago. PLAYOFFS ELITE 8 D-1 FOOTBALL!!! LETS MAKE IT HAPPEN!
