ALABAMA CRIMSON TIDE - 2 (-110)  >  WINNER

L.S.U. / ALABAMA OVER 41 (-110)  >  LOSS

ALABAMA (Moneyline) (-130)  >  WINNER

MY FINAL CFB SELECTIONS HAS IT ALL! THE BEST COACH IN THE COUNTRY IN NICK SABIN.  THE REVENGE THEORY AT ITS VERY BEST! THE LUCKIEST COACH IN CFB IN LES MYLES! THE BEST EXAMPLE THAT THE LINESMAKERS HAVE SHOWN THIS SEASON, THAT THEY TRULY KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING BY MAKING ALABAMA FAVORITE. EVEN THOUGH MOST SAY, THE SUPERDOME GIVES L.S.U. THE HOME FIELD ADVANTAGE, IT MEANS NOTHING. PRDICTION: ALABAMA 27 L.S.U. 15 EITHER QB JEFFERSON OR LES MYLES WILL BE THE PRIMARY CAUSE OF L.S.U.'s LOSS. ENJOY THE GAME AND ROLL TIDE.

So les miles entire career is based on luck?  That you make your own luck theory is all bs?

And always a favorite, the revenge factor.  That somehow suggests that it is more likely if a team wins once they are less likely to do it again.  So in this case, you are saying it is a disadvantage for lsu that they won the first time?  So Alabama is more likely to win because they lost once?

I believe what Harry is saying is as simple as this........  Books are not afraid to give LSU points because they know they will receive more action/money on LSU when people see LSU + ANY amount of points.  You have to believe the PUBLIC will be on LSU and the SHARPS will be around a 55/45 split in favor of Alabama.  Hence the reason the line has moved in ALABAMA'S favor.  More times than not, VEGAS wins in these high profile games.  Public will see LSU getting points and jump on it.  I am an Alabama fan but not an Alabama homer.  I like Alabama for the side and the OVER.  Look for both offenses to score in the low to mid 20's.  Regardless of the outcome, it will result in VEGAS winning money.

Lsu wins between 7-10 points  they will shut down Richardson and Alabama qb cannot beat you throwing  Saban plays to close to the vest .if Alabama would have played Oregon and west Virginia they would not be the number 1 defense in the country they would be number 2 behind LSU . Remember this ,Jefferson starts for the Tigers plus Lsu does not lose in the Superdome so Harry bring on your Alabama team and we will see tommorrow night .I just don't understand what makes u think all of sudden LSU is just going to fall apart and Alabama will win they have no special teams plus you just gave Chavis 4-5 weeks to prepare for Richardson Alabama cannot play any better than last time except their complete kicking game and that ain't happening. If LSU plays any better than they played the last time it will be a 7-10 game .

Linesmakers didn't make bama the favorite...geez

2012 NFL PreSeason Record: 1-0, +1 Unit

This town won't appreciate Tony Romo until he's gone and the Cowboys are back playing with the Quincy Carters and Chad Hutchinsons of this world. Remember those days?

You don't appreciate a quality quarterback until you don't have one. Few teams have the good fortune of making the transition from a Peyton Manning to Andrew Luck as the Colts are prepared to do. When Romo is done, it may be 5-10-15 years before the Cowboys find another quarterback of his ability.

I am with Stew....didn't this game open as LSU -1??? Wouldn't that mean the linesmakers made LSU the favorite and the betting action on the game made Bama the favorite?  \

I respect quite a few people on this site, but sometimes, you have to take a common sense look at things.  LSU has beaten some of the best teams in the country this year.  Arkansas, Oregon, Alabama, West Virginia.  Compare the top 4 teams Alabama has beaten as see if they compare.  They do NOT.  LSU's offense has gotten BETTER since the last time these teams met.  Alabama seems the same to me, which doesn't mean they are bad.  Both defenses are top notch.  LSU faces a superior rushing attack with Richardson being a beast.  They are average in the passing game.  No QB legs to scare the LSU defense.  Besides, if they could throw more, the LSU secondary may be the best ever.  Jefferson adds that element of unknown to the gameplan.  Tide has to gameplan for him breaking containment.  LSU doesn't throw the ball around too much either, but Jefferson can take off.  I say thats the edge.  LSU wins the game.  GEAUX TIGERS.....

If you can answer the following question, you will know why Alabama is our new National Champion after Monday night! Why would the biggest linesmakers in the world, make Alabama a 1 1/2 to 2 point favorite as this is being typed?

When the lines were originally posted on Dec 4, Alabama was widely available at +2, and available for a very short time at +3 at 5 dimes ...  The line has moved in Alabama's favor despite 63% of the bets placed being on LSU.  Either the larger bets or the more respected (i.e. sharp) money is on Alabama.

Margin of victory against Arkansas?   exactly the same!  the rest of the common opponents are also very similar.

Jefferson's unknown is will he make a mistake

Can't argue with LSU secondary being the best ever but the best coach is on the other sideline.

They played 4 quarters to a deadlock in November and Alabama left points on the field.  Nothing has changed since the last game and first one to 13 wins.
