Any data available on how the football teams with interim coaches do in bowl games vs the number? This bowl season TEN teams have interim coaches in their bowl games.Houston/Penn St/ NC/Illini vs Ucla/Toledo/Tex AM/Ohio St/Pitt/Ark St.
Football motivation is key to giving a full effort out on the field. I wonder how motivated these teams are when they are playing for someone who won't be their coach next season,.. or not that big of a factor?
No need for data/ just watching North Carolina's effort may tell the whole story...
Teams with interim coaches 0-2 ats so far,..Toledo/NC
Could be a great fade trend???
Rule #1. Bankroll Management!
Rule #2. Discipline!
Next up Houston./Fade? Illini vs Ucla who knows who cares more/less?
Yah, Aggies have one at the helm today, lol
and I'm on the other side!
Money Doesn't Buy Happiness...But I'd Rather Cry On My Yacht
Texas A&M interim coach tried to lose with not running out the clock/less than 3 minutes/so they roll down on bad NW defense/not get 1st down and kick field goal to beat the number.
interim coaches 1 win/2 losses. UCLA/Illini train wreck both interim coaches
Illini win makes this 2 win and 2 loses.
Interim Bowl game coaches so far Won 1-Lost 4. Texas A&M won
North Carolina interim coach/ loss
Toledo interim coach/loss
Ohio State interim coach/loss.
Penn St interim coach/ loss (Houston coach not interim)
Illini Won but vs Ucla so both teams with interim coaches not included in this stat.
Pitt and Ark St both with interim coaches yet to play.
Lack of effort and motivation seem to be the trend I see so far.
Interim coaches so far in bowls Won-1 LOST 5!
Pitt loss adds to the tally getting hammered by SMU/ anyone say uninspired effort?
,..Next up Ark St with interim coach vs N Illinois Huskies.
