Here's the list (I may have missed one) of five-win teams in the NCAA that need one more to have a payday.

It is important (IMHO) when looking at their games this weekend.

Texas Tech

South Florida

Syracuse

Marshall

UTEP

Kent State

Vanderbilt

Tennessee

Mississippi State

Hawaii

Of any big win we have had, or winning streak, or even coming out of a losing streak, of this I am most proud:

Some forum posters have broken into the industry and have achieved moderate success while carrying themselves with professionalism and integrity. Dave Essler, of the pick-selling site Pregame, immediately comes to mind.

I still want to know if all these people on Twitter and Pick-Selling sites claim to have beaten up books for years, I would think there would be no places left to place wagers.

I might throw Purdue in there as well.

Told you I probably missed one. Glad someone is paying attention. Thanks for that.

And here were the rest of my thoughts (I have them now and then) this morning:

You cannot be serious that Auburn is getting 21 points. A touchdown or more of that is perception.

I know Kentucky is not good, but who are the Vols (I know Bray is back) to be laying nine on the road. Any road.

Can Umass be that easy. BC without Raji and Paris. Umass with revenge from a five point loss last year. Both have big games Thursday.

Can Missouri (CBB) be that easy essentially at home against Notre Dame without Hansbrough. Tigers all back EXCEPT the coach. Abrommaitis probably back.

How can Drexel, who plays slow and cannot score, be favored by -8 and still getting love. Doubt they combine for 110 points.

My guess is either Drake or Winthrop wins, at worst a split ATS taking both, which I might. Only possible early plays for me.

I probably should have taken Memphis at -4 last night. Now, probably best to watch. Tough total of 131 as well. Total movement dictates side.

Wow.. What can Brown do for you. No respect for George Mason whatsoever.

I'm having a hard time coming to grips with BC and Umass scoring 140 points. Not sure what I am missing.

Those are at least the ones I remember.

Maybe, G-dog. But don't think for a second that Auburn will roll over, and after playing Georgia Southern, I don't care who you are, you can't turn it on and off whenever you want. Not saying it's GOY material, but no way I would lay -21. For those that do, good luck. Chizik (yes, Saban is a better coach) is one of the best "one game" coaches there is. Just playing Devils' Advocate.

Yeah Dave, I think you can take Vandy off the list because of their wins was against Elon.

A pity because Vandy had 3 games this year that could have gone either way. Coach Franklin has make some great strides (I think) in their football program this year and if he doesn't blow a fuse, he should have them bowling next year no problem (I think).

Really looking strong at my Red Raiders. Figure Baylor will be on cloud nine after beating Oklahoma, which should help. Baylor will also be a favorite in this game, but keep in mind that since the inception of the BIg 12 Baylor has never beaten Texas Tech.

For one Tenn can lay as many as they want to with Brey they are an entirely diffrent team, why because he gives them an offense, now since they have a offense the defense is stepping up he's the missing link.

Put Vandy back in as long as you have only 1 win vs a NON FCS opp it still counts its when you play two non fcs teams that they only count 1(bye bye Kentucky ... Hello new Tenn team)

Any theory where the team needs 1 more bowl win to be bowl eligible is counted into the line.  We did this study last year here at pregame, don't remember who it was but I followed along and here are the #'s

Wk 11    wk 12   wk 13  2010

6-8-2     7-3         6-8      Overall - 19-19-2

3-4        2-3         4-4      HM teams - 9-11

2-4-2     3-1         4-5      RD teams  - 10-8-2

I did not continue this study b/c found no absolute value in it but I guess its still necessary that your aware of that angle when capping the game

Go Cocks!

I dont gamble.... but I bet
