About a month ago, I posted my first max bet of the 2017 college football season. It was Notre Dame -6 over Temple in Week 1 and I detailed my reasons for liking the Fighting Irish in that match-up. I felt it was one of those rare instances where a legitimate mistake was made in the two teams' power ratings and thought that the line was off more than a TD. Since that bet was made in March, multiple max bets have been made on Notre Dame and the line is now incredibly up to -15 at the Golden Nugget. It goes to show you that this time of year can offer up some significant value bets in the "soft" CFB off-season markets.
You can read more about the steam move on Notre Dame in today's Las Vegas Review Journal.
Starting on Monday, May 1st I will begin releasing my 2017 college football previews for all 130 teams. Unlike most preseason magazines, these previews will have a strong gambling "flare" to them and also give you actionable advice on every team. I will do 1-2 teams every day throughout the months of May, June and July.
Feel free to ask me any questions you may have about any teams or players.
