We have two great games on the slate for Friday night in college football. We will be breaking down the matchups below, what our system thinks, and our official plays. It is the night of the road dog!
Toledo and BYU
Our system calls this game a pick so getting 3.5 with Toledo is a great spot. BYU has had a brutal slate to start the year while Toledo is 3-0 but hasn't played anyone. This is Toledo's first true test and our system is loving Toledo. They are able to control the game on the ground with multiple capable running backs but the star is Kareem Hunt. BYU does a decent job stopping the run but Hunt is going to get his yards. The Toledo defense has been clicking as well even though not against the best competition. Toledo could be an outright winner but if not should be able to keep it within a field goal.
System: Toledo 25.15 & BYU 26.42
Plays: 2* Toledo +3.5
Stanford and Washington
Seattle is going to be rocking on Friday night with this matchup. The key to this matchup is Stanford's ability to stop Washington's prolific offense. If anyone can do it, it is Stanford who is limiting opponents to less than 4.5 yards per play!!! Stanford pro style offense and a heavy dose of Christian MCaffrey might be too much for Washington. Our system calls for this game to stay close throughout. We also like the outright winner on Stanford but will gladly take the 3.5 points.
System: Stanford 24.57 & Washington 24.17
Play: 1* Stanford +3.5
Everyone enjoy the great slate on Friday night!
